Jurian Hughes & David Wallace – OneYoga Global

with Jurian Hughes & David Wallace

Italy, particularly the Italian countryside, represents for many of us the epitome

of the sweet life. Italians seem to understand so well how to create a life that is pleasurable, healthy, meaningful, relaxed and rooted in priorities that the rest of the world have forsaken.

During these seven delightful days we’ll practice life “Italian style.” You’ll be guided on this adventure by two seasoned teachers who are both experts in their field as well as superb hosts:
Jurian Hughes – senior Kripalu faculty for over a decade, experienced retreat leader and movement master – will lead daily dives into yoga both enlivening and restorative, meditation, pranayama, and opportunities to dance.
David Wallace – interfaith minister, and senior teacher at One Spirit Seminary in NYC, well-known for his memorable lectures and spirited discussions – will offer nourishing “soul food” explorations into teachings from the ancient wisdom traditions, poetry and chant.
There will be time to swim, hike, and be in community; as well as quiet time for healing massage, private reflection and peaceful solitude. Dive into the restoring practices of yoga, dance, friendship and adventure – and rediscover the sweetness of life!
Very limited space available, please reserve early.

Vacation Details
Your home for the week will be at La Rose Dei 4 Venti, a community created and dedicated to cultural enrichment, spiritual teachings, retreats and healthful living.
La Rosa dei 4 Venti is an ancient 18th century “Masseria” (farmhouse), beautifully restored and renovated. The 14-acre property includes a manor house, beautifully appointed en suite rooms, several large common areas, a small church with original wall paintings dating back to the 18th century, a large yoga shala, a wide glass gazebo room overlooking the open garden, a private forest with a meditation path, a swimming pool and several relaxation areas.
Your home for the week is located halfway between the Adriatic and Ionic Seas. You’ll find yourself totally surrounded with peace and tranquility.
Prepare to be nourished by these surroundings, delicious meals prepared with fresh local ingredients and classes and explorations juided by Jurian and David.
During our week, we’ll take time to visit the beautiful local market in Martina Franca; we’ll spend time hiking in the protected Pianelle Forest; and we’ll take a full adventure day exploring the Apulian villages of Polignano a Mare and Ostuni, including a visit to an ancient olive oil mill for a special tasting. Of course, our week would not be complete without a swim in the Adriatic Sea.
